Since 2001 Freelance interpreter and translator, working in Italian, German, English and Chinese.
Education and training
2011-2013 (ongoing) European Master in Audiovisual Translation at the University of Parma.
2006 HSK level 7 (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi - Chinese Proficiency Test)
2005 - 2006 One-year course in Chinese at the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing.
1994 - 2001 Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators (SSLMIT), University of Trieste. Four-year degree course in interpreting - German, English and Chinese. Thesis: "Le plastiche biodegradabili. Glossario italiano - inglese - cinese" (Biodegradable plastics. Italian - English - Chinese glossary)
Degree in interpreting (2001), marks of 110/110, summa cum laude.
Two-year degree in interpreting and translating (1996), marks of 60/60.
1989 - 1994 "Cardinal Ferrari"-high school, Cantù (Como). Languages studied: German, English and French. High school diploma (obtained in 1994), with marks of 60/60.
from 1991 onwards Various periods spent abroad: England, France, Germany, China and Taiwan.
Skills and competences

• Ability to work in a multicultural and/or multinational environment acquired during the various stays abroad
• Excellent communication skills in the three main working languages (Italian, German and English); good communication skills in Chinese
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Excellent organization skills (coordination of large translation projects)
• Excellent computer skills (OS: Windows ME, XP; MS Office 2000). Use of computer-aided translation tools (Wordfast for translating text files, Catscradle for translating html files, Dreamweaver for editing and creating html files)
• Very good writing skills (publication of articles and reviews in the internal magazine of the Gruppo Arte e Cultura of Cantù and in Il Foglio, magazine of Cucciago library, Como)
